28th Match ICC World T20 2014 : 28th game of ICC world t20 2014 was played between Australia and India at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. India with all round performances won the match by huge margins of 73 runs and won 4 of 4 matches played in tournament. R Ashwin (India) again won man of the match award for his consistence superb bowling and picked up important 4 wickets spending 11 runs of his 3.2 overs.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and put India in to bat first. India could not made batter start and lost RG Sharma early in very first over. Virat Kohli joined with AM Rahane and kept wickets in hand for few overs and rotate strikes rates as well. India lost sudden 3 wickets in quick successions and in 11th overs India were 4 for 66 runs. Yuvraj Singh took the charge and played superb inning of 66 runs of 43 balls. India managed to put 159 runs on board at the end of 20 overs.

Following target of 160 runs, Australian batsmen could not face Indian spin attack well and kept losing wickets in regular interwals. Ashwin, Jadeja and Mishra bowled well and could not allow Australian batsmen to setteled in the middle. At last, Australia all out in 16.2 overs scoring just 86 runs and lost the match by huge margins of 73 runs.

Thus, India got 2 points and remained unbeaten in tournament while, Australia yet to win 1st match. Ravichandran Ashwin declared man of the match for his 4 wickets in 3.2 overs spending 11 runs.
