West Indies hold the nerves well and made comprehensive win over Australia by 6 wickets. DJG Sammy was the hero of the match and awarded man of the match for his super fast inning of 34 runs of just 13 balls.

Earlier, Australia skipper won the toss and decided to bat first. Australia started well but lost 3 wickets in quick successions. Middle order batsmen GJ Maxwell 45 of 22 balls and BJ Hodge 35 runs of 26 balls played well and put Australia on 178 runs at the end of 20 overs.

Following huge target of 179 runs, West Indies made quick start and both openers played well. Smith departed on 50 runs partnership but, Gayle continued playing well. He made important 53 runs of 35 balls. In later overs DJ Bravo 27 runs of 12 balls and skipper DJG Sammy 34 rns of just 13 balls gave West Indies fantastic win by 6 wickets when 2 ball spare to bowl.
