24th Match ICC World T20 2014 : 24th match of ICC world t20 2014 was played between host team Bangladesh and India at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. India made easy win by 8 wickets and book ticket for Semi Final of Icc worldt20 2014. R Ashwin declared man of the match for his 2 wickets in 4 overs spending 15 runs.

Earlier, MS Dhoni skipper of India won the lucky toss and put Bangladesh into bat first. Home team Bangladesh could not made batter start and lost early 3 wicket in just 21 runs. Middle order batsman Anamul Haque played sensible inning of 44 run and shaped up Bangladesh inning well. Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim also played well and made 24 runs. In lower order Mahmudullah played some good inning of 33 runs and put Bangladesh on respactable total of 138 runs at the end of 20 overs.

Following target of 139 runs, India lost S Dhawan early. Virat Kohli joined with RG Sharma and both played sensible cricket as per their reputation. RG Sharma contributed 56 runs before got out. Virat Kohli made 57 runs and remained not out till end. India achived given target in 18.3 overs and won the match by 8 wickets.

Thus, India got 2 points and ticket to Semi final and Bangladesh yet to win first match in ICC world t20 2014. Ravichandran Ashwin declared man of the match for 2 wicket spending 15 runs in his 4 overs.
