Netherlands as qualifying match reputation started their inning very aggrassively and from the beginning go after South African bowlers rudely. SJ Myburgh an opening batsman made superfast 51 runs of just 28 balls but he was bowled by JP Duminy. Other middle order batsmen also tried their best but could not reachd 145 runs and managed to score 139 runs with lost of 10 wickest in 18.4 overs and lost the match by 6 runs,
