The Afghanistan Cricket Board announced 30 probable squad for the ICC World Cup 2015 to be held in Australia and New Zealand. Afghanistan is going to made maiden appearance at the ICC World Cup, so it has been regarded as one of cricket's biggest success story for Afghanistan.
As expected, there was no major surprise in Afghanistan squad with the regular faces that have been playing for the national team over the last few years.
Afghanistan is part of Pool A with New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, Bangladesh and Scottland. Team Afghanistan opens its first worldcup tournament against Bangladesh on February 18 in Canberra.
