2nd Semi Final match for 2015 ICC Worldcup has been plated between Australia and India at Sydney Cricket Ground today. Opting to bat first, Australia put huge score of 328 runs with helps of SPD Smith 105 runs for India. India all out scoring 233 runs and lost the match by 95 runs. SPD Smith declared man of the match for his superb inning of 105 runs.
Earlier, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first and set target for India. Opting to bat dirst, Australia lost DA Warner early scoring 12 runs. SPD Smith joined with AJ Finch and made good partnership of 182 runs for 2nd wicket for Australia. SPD Smith made very good 105 runs and AJ Finch contribted 81 runs before left the field. In later overs JP Faulkner 21 and MG Johnson's quick 27 of 13 balls put Australia on huge score of 328 runs at the end of 50 overs.
Following huge target of 329 runs, India made confident start with RG Sharma and S Dhawan initially. Both added 76 runs in 12.5 overs. Suddenly, Lost quick 4 wickets with Dhawan, RG Sharma, V Kohli and SK Raina in quick interwals put India into trouble. At one stage India were 108/4 in 23 overs. AM Rahane and skipper MS Dhoni took charge in hand played good cricket in middle overs. AM Rahane made 44 runs before lost his wicket. MS Dhoni tried his best made 65 runs in 65 balls but not enough to reach Australia's huge score. India all out scoring 233 runs and lost the match by 95 runs. Australia advanced to Final of 2015 Worldcup will play with New Zealand on 29th of March 2015 at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
