Bangladesh selectors today announced the final 15 man squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Mashrafe Mortaza will captain the Bangladesh side and Shakib Al Hasan named the vice-captain for Cricket World Cup 2015 that will take place in Australia and New Zealand in February and March.
National selectors of Bangladesh have selected 5 specialist batsmen and 6 specialist bowlers with 3 allrounders and 1 wicketkeeper for 2015 Worldcup. Selectors have given chance to few young stars with experience players in 15 man squad.
Along with experience players like Mashrafe Mortaza, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim selectors picked few young players like Soumya Sarkar (all rounder), Taskin Ahmed (pace bowler), Taijul Islam (bowler), Taskin Ahmed (bowler) in Bangladesh final squad for world cup 2015.
Bangladesh will leave for Australia on January 24, and will play two unofficial practice matches apart from the warm-up fixtures against Pakistan and Ireland.
Bangladesh is in Group A along with Australia, England, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Scotland. Team Bangladesh will start its World Cup campaign against Afghanistan on February 17 at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.
