14th match of ICC Worldcup 2015 has been played between England and Scotland at Hagley Oval, Christchurch today. MM Ali's led from top with superb 128 ton helps England to registered 1st win of Worldcup 2015 season. Scotland failed to chase 304 runs and all socring 184 runs in 42.2 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 119 runs.
Earlier Scotland won the Toss and put England into bat first. The decision did not seems right for Scotland and England made confident start with MM Ali and IR Bell. Both played well and added 172 runs for 1st wicket before IR Bell got out scoring 54 runs. MM Ali contributed very well 128 runs of just 107 balls with 5 messive sixes in his brave inning. In later overs skipper EJG Morgan also played good inning of 46 runs and England managed to put huge score of 303 runs at the end of 50 overs.
Following huge target of 304 runs, Scotland opener KJ Coetzer played good inning of 71 runs but, apart from KJ Coetzer no other batsmen stood in middle for long and Scotland team all out scoring 184 runs in 42.2 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 119 runs.
