42nd and last league match of ICC Worldcup 2015 has been played between Ireland and Pakistan at Adelaid Oval today. Ireland having won the toss put 237 runs for Pakistan to achieved. WTS Porterfield contributed well 107 runs for Ireland. Pakistan with good batting performances won the match by 7 wickets and qualify for Quarter Final as well. Sarfraz Ahmed (Pakistan) declared man of the match for his splendid inning of 101* runs.
Earlier, Ireland won the toss and decided to bat first. Skipper WTS Porterfield started inning with PR Stirling. Most Ireland batsmen got out under 20 runs except skipper WTS Porterfield, who played good cricket and made very well 107 runs for Ireland. At the end of 50 overs Iraland managed to put 237 runs for Pakistan to achieved.
Following target of 238 runs, Pakistan got superb start with Ahmed Shehzad and Sarfraz Ahmed initially. Both played sensible cricket and contributed 120 runs for 1st wicket before Ahmed Shehzad got out scoring 63 runs. Sarfraz Ahmed remained not out till scoring 101* runs and gave Pakistan comprehensive win over Ireland by 7 wickets.
