4th Quarter final match of ICC Worldcup 2015 has been played between host New zealand and West Indies at Westpac Stadium, Wellington today. New zealand opting to bat first, with help of MJ Guptill's extra ordinery inning of 237* runs managed to put very huge totals of 393 runs for West Indies to achieved. West Indies all out scoring 250 runs in 30.3 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 143 runs. MJ Guptill (New Zealand) declared man of the match for his splendid inning of 237* runs.
Earlier, New zealand won the toss and decided to bat first and set decent target for West Indies. As usual, New zealand started with great confidence and firing inning with skipper BB Macullum and MJ Guptill initially. Skipper McCullum fall early scoring 12 runs but KS Williamson joined with Guptill and took charge in hand for New zealand. KS Williamson made very well 33 runs before left the field. MJ Guptill stood in middle till end and played remarkable inning of 237* runs with 11 massive sixes and 24 fantastic fours. New zealand put very huge totals of 393 runs at the end of 50 overs.
Following huge target of 394 runs, West Indies tried their level best and bated very agrassively through out the inning. CH Gayle made quick 61 of 33 balls. Skipper Holder made 42 of 26 balls but, not big inning like MJ Guptill comes for West Indies and they lost on 30.3 overs by huge margins of 143 runs. New Zealand advanced to Semi Final with remaining unbeaten in 2015 ICC Worldcup season.
