10th match of ICC Worldcup 2015 has been played between Pakistan and West Indies at Hahley Oval, Christchurch today. West Indies kees down Pakistan by superb all round performances by huge margins of 150 runs. AD Russell (West Indies) declared man of the match for his stroming inning of 42 runs just in 13 balls and picked-up 3 important wickets for West Indies.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first and let West Indies to set target. West Indies putting into bat first, lost both openers early in team score 28 runs. But middle and lower order batsmen played good cricket and WI managed to put huge score of 310 runs at the end of 50 overs. DM Bravo (49), D Ramdin (51) and LMP Simmons (51) were top scorer for West Indies. But main attraction was AD Russell who fired in later overs and made 42 runs of just 13 balls with 3 fours and 4 big sixes.
Following huge target of 311 runs, Pakistan top order collapse against West Indies pace attack an at one stage Pakistan were 5/25 in 3.1 overs. Sohaib Maqsood (50) and Umar Akmal (59) faught well but not enough to chase huge target of 311 runs. Pakistan all out scoring just 160 runs in 39 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 150 runs.
