Zimbabwe selectors announced final 15 man squad for upcoming 2015 ICC Worldcup to be played to Australia and New Zealand in February. Elton Chigumbura will be the captain for Zimbabwe side for the 2015 ICC Worldcup.
Zimbabwe batsman Hamilton Masakadza is selected to play his first World Cup after 14 years as an international cricketer, having made his debut in 2001. He was included in Zimbabwe's 15 for the first time, after missing the 2003, 2007 and 20011 World Cups because he was too new, injured and in bad form.
Propser Utseya also finds place in 15 man squad of Zimbabwe despite having been banned from bowling his offbreak but allowed to bowl otherwise.
Zimbabwe is in Group B along with Ireland, South Africa, India, West Indies, Pakistan and UAE. Team Zimbabwe will start its World Cup campaign against South Africa in their opening game at the Seddon Park, Hamilton on February 15.
