Player of the Match : Rohit Sharma(India)

7th One Day International : The 7th ODI match of Australia Tour in India 2013-14 has been played today in Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium between India and Australia.

India registered comprehensive 57 runs win over Australia and won 7 match series by 3-2. Rohit Sharma (India) declared man of the match for his superb inning of 209 runs of just 158 balls.

Earlier Australia won the Toss and put India to bat first. India put huge score of 383 runs on board to achived for Australia. Top order batsmen RG Sharma and S Dhawan played very well. Dhawan contributed 60 runs. Rohit Sharma played superb inning of 209 runs of just 158 balls and become the 3rd player of ODI cricket to score double hundred. Skipper Dhoni also contributed important 62 runs.

Following huge target of 384 runs Australian Top order batsmen could not gave batter start but, middle order batsmen played positive innings and go after Indian bowling attack as well. Maxwell made 60 runs of just 22 balls and Faulkner made very well 116 runs of just 73 balls. He completed his 100 runs of just 57 balls. But, his brave inning was not enough to achive large total of 384 runs. Australia lost all 10 wickets in 45.1 overs scoring 326 runs and lost the match by 57 runs.
