2nd One day International of 5 ODI series between India and Sri Lanka has been played at Ahmedabad today. India with good all round batting and bowling preformances won the match by 6 wickets in 44.3 overs. AT Rayudu declared man of the match for his brave inning of 121* runs of 118 balls.
Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first and decided to set traget for India. Opening batsmen could played well but, Kumar Sangakkara played good inning of 61 runs and Skipper AD Mathews contributed unbeaten 92 runs and put good score of 274 runs at the end of 50 overs.
Following target of 274 runs, India lost previous match star batsman AM Rahane early of 8 runs. But, S Dhawan joined with AT Rayudu and played superb ining for India. Both played well and put India in winning position. S Dhawan made very well 79 runs before he lost his wickets. AT Rayudu remained unbeaten till end and gave India comprehensive win in 44.3 overs with 6 wickets remainings. Rayudu contributed 121* runs for India. Skipper Kohli also played good inning of 49 runs. AT Rayudu declared man of the match for his splendid inning of 121* runs.
Series - India led the 5-match series 2-0.
