3rd One day International of 5 ODI series between India and Sri Lanka has been played at Hyderabad today. India once again with good all round batting and bowling preformances won the match by 6 wickets. S dhawan played superb inning of 91 runs of 79 balls. But DPMD Jayawardene (Sri Lanka) declared man of the match for his brave inning of 118 runs.
Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first and decided to set traget for India. Sri Lanka could not batter start and lost 2 wickets early in 2.1 overs of just 7 runs. TM Dilshan and Jayawardene took the charge in hand and played superb innigs for Sri Lanka. Dilshan made 53 runs and Jayawardene played superb century inning of 118 runs of 124 balls. Other Sri Lankan batsmen could not stood in middle for long and Sri Lanka team all out for 242 runs in 48.2 overs. UT Yadav took 4 wickets and AR Patel picked up 3 important wickets for India.
Following target of 243 runs, India made batter start with AM Rahane and S Dhawan. Rahane fall scoring 31 runs but, S Dhawan continued with his great foram and made useful 91 runs before he lost wicket. AT Rayudu infortunately got run out scoring 35 runs. Skipper Virat Kohli also contributed 53 runs for India. India in 45th over registered comprehensive win over Sri Lanka by 6 wickets. India also win 5 match series 3-0.
DPMD Jayawardene (Sri Lanka) declared man of the match for his barve inning of 118 runs of 124 balls.
