2nd ODI match of 5 match series between India and West Indies has been played at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi. India with middle orders superb batting and good peace of bowling atack won the match by 48 runs. Mohammed Shami declared man of the match for his superb bowling with 4 important wickets.
Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. India could not made batter start and lost S Dhawan early scoring just 1 run. AM Rahane also lost his wicket scoring 12 runs. Middle order batemen playes good cricket and V Kohli 62, SK Raina 62 and MS Dhoni 51* contributed well. India managed to put good score of 263 runs at the end of 50 overs.
Following target of 264 runs, West Indies made good start with DR Smith and DJ Bravo. DR Smith played superb inning of 97 runs before he bowled out by M Shami. DM Bravo also bowled by M Shami of 26 runs. KA Pollard played good inning of 40 runs but, other middle orders and loswer order batsmen failed to stood in middle for long and lost wickets in regular interwals. West India all out scoring 215 runs in 46.3 overs and lost the match by 48 runs.
