IPL 7 Delhi Daredevils vs Rajasthan Royals Report

23rd match of IPL season 7 has been played between Delhi Daredevils and Rajasthan Royals at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi. Rajasthan registered comprehensive win by 7 wickets. KK Nair declared man of the match for his superb inning of 73 runs of 50 balls.

Earlier, Rajasthan won the toss and decided to field forst and let Delhi to set target. Delhi open innng with Q de Kock and M Vijay confidently. Initially both played but, M Vijay got out scoring 13 runs in 5th over. Next Batsmen skipper and KD Karthik could not contributed well and lost wickets early. JP Duminy jioned with Qde Kock and played good cricket in middle. Q de Kock made 42 runs before lost the wicket. Duminy also played good inning of 39 runs. At last Delhi managed to put 152 runs on board to achieved for Rajasthan.

Following target of 153 runs, Rajasthan lost their star bastman AM Rahane early. But, another opener KK Nair jioned with SV Samson and played sensible cricket and rotate strikes rate as well. SV Samson made very useful 34 runs before he lost the wicket. Karun Nair remained not out till end and made 73 runs of 50 balls. Rajasthan registeered comprehensive win by 7 wickets when 9 ball remainings to bowled.

Thus, Rajasthan got 2 points and Delhi with 0 points. Karun Nair declared man of the match for his anchoring innings of 73 runs and remained not out till end.
