19th match of IPL season 2014 has been played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at Abu Dhabi. Interesting and heart beating game ended over in favor of Rajasthan as both teams made 152 runs in regular 20 overs and also made 11 runs in super over. Rajasthan declared winner as hits more boundries. James Faulkner of Rajasthan got man of the match award as he bowled well and picked up 3 wickets in his 2 overs spending just 11 runs.
Earlier, Rajasthan won the toss and decided to bat first. Optong to bast first, Rajasthan started with AM Rahane and KK Nair. Nair departed early. But Rahane played superb inning of 72 runs. SV Samson made 20 runs. Skipper SR Watson also played well and contributed 33 runs. At the end of 20 overs Rajasthan put 152 runs for Kolkata.
Following target of 153 runs, Today skipper started inning with MS Bisla. G Gambhir played well and made 45 runs. Lower order batsmen Suryakant Yadav 31 and Shakib Al Hasan made 29 runs of 18 balls. Kolkata also made 152 runs and match gone in super over.
In super overs batting first Kolkata made 11 runs of 1 wicket and Rajasthan also made 11 runs, But because Rajasthan hits more boundries in super over Rajasthan daclared winner of the match.
Thus, Rajasthan got important 2 points and Kolkata got 0 points. James Faulkner of Rajasthan got man of the match award as he bowled well and picked up 3 wickets in his 2 overs spending just 11 runs.
