55th match of IPL season 7 has been played between Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils at PCA Stadium, Mohali. Punjab with superb form continued and won the match against Delhi by huge margins of 7 wickets. Manan Vohra declared man of the match for his 47 runs from the top.
Earlier, Punjab won the toss and decided to field first. Delhi could not made good start and lost M Agrawal early. OTher top orders also failed. KD Karthik (13), KM Jadhav (0), MK Tiwary (8) and JP Duminy (8) lost wickets quickly. Only skipper Pietersen played good inning of 58 runs and put Delhi on 115 runs.
Following small target of 116 runs, Punjab also lost V Sehwag (9) and GJ Maxwell for a duck. Mana Vohra and DA Milertook the charge and played sensible cricket for Punjab and put on front. DA Miler made 47 runs and Manan Vohra contributed 47 runs for team. Punjab registered superb win by 7 wickets in 13.5 over.
Thus, Punjab with 2 points remained on top of the Points tally with 22 points and Deli did not have good season this year and finds on the bottom position with no.8 position of points tally. M Vohra was man of the match for his 47 runs from the top orders.
