51st match of IPL season 7 has been played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Mumbai still kept hope alive for playoffs as beat today Delhi by 15 runs. Mike Hyssey playe well inning of 56 runs and he declared man of the match.
Earlier, Dehi won the toss and elected to field first. Mumbai putting into bat first made brillient start with LMP Simmons and Mike Hussey. Both added 87 run sin just 8 overs before Simmons lost his wicket scoring 35 runs of 25 balls. Hyssey played well and contributed very well 56 runs of 33 balls before got run out. RG Sharma started well but fall after scoring 30 runs. Other middle and lower order did not played well and lost wickets in regular interwals. Mumbai could not continued the momentom of good run rates in 1st 10 overs and managed to put 173 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Following totals of 174 runs, Delhi started inning with M Vijay and skipper KP Pietersen. M Vijay gone early scoring 8 runs. KD Karthik joined with Pietersen but lost early wickwt scoring just 7 runs. KP made 44 runs before he departed. MK Tiwary (41) and JP Duminy (45) played well but Delhi lost the match by 15 runs.
Thus, Mumbai got well needed 2 points and Delhi again disappointed with 0 points. Mike Hussey declared man of the match for his 56 runs.
