20th match of IPL season 2014 has been played between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Dubai. Hyderabad with superb all round performances won the match by 15 runs margin. DA Warner played good inning of 65 runs but Bhuvneshwar Kumar declared man of the match for his 2 wickets spending 17 runs in his 4 overs.
Earlier, Mumbai skipper RG Sharma won the toss and decided to field first. Putting into bat first, Hyderabad could not made batter start and lost both opening batsmen early. AJ Finch out for 16 and Skipper Dhawan out for 6 runs. But middle order batsmen KL Rahul and DA Warner played super cricket and put decent totals for Hyderabad. KL Rahul made 46 runs and DA Waner contributed very well 65 runs. At the end of 20 overs Hyderabad managed to put good score of 172 runs on board for Mumbai to achieved.
Following huge target of 173 runs, Mumbai lost skipper RG Sharma and CJ Anderson early. BR Dunk also lost his wicket scoring 20 runs. AT Rayudu nd KA Pollard took the charge and played good innings in middle overs. Rayudu made 35 runs before he lost wicket. KA Pollard faugh well and made quick 78 runs of 48 balls with 6 massive sixes but he lost wicket to Pathan and other lower order batsmen faild to survive higher required run rates and at the end lost the match by 15 runs.
Thus, Mumbai lost consecutive 5th loss in IPL season 7 and Hyderabad got 2 important points. B Kumar bowled well and declared man of the match for his 2 wickets of 17 runs in his 4 overs.
