IPL 7 Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Daredevils Report

41st match of IPL season 7 has been played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad. Rajasthan with good all round preformances won the match by huge margins 62 runs. AM Rahane declared man of the match for his superb inning of 64 runs.

Earlier, Delhi won the toss and decided to field first and let Rajasthan to set target. Rajasthan putting into bat first made slow and steady start with AM Rahane and KK Nair. Nair got out scoring 19 runs of S Nadeem. Today RR changed in batting order and sent KK Cooper on no.3, experiement worked well and Cooper smashed 32 runs of just 16 balls. SV Samson joined with Rahane and continued to play qiuck cricket in middle overs. AM rahane contributed 64 runs and SV Samson made quick 40 of 25 balls. In later overs James Faulkner played firing inning of 23 runs of 8 balls and put Rajasthan on huge score of 201 runs. This was the highest totals of Rajasthan of this season.

Following huge target of 202 runs, Delhi could not made batter start and lost MA Agrawal (9) and KD Karthik (3). Other middle and lower orders batsmen could not stood in middle and surrendered against Rajasthan bowling. Only MK Tiwary played well but not enough to reach Rajasthna huge totals. At the end of 20 overs Delhi managed to score 139/9 runs and lost the match by 62 runs.

Thus, Rajasthan got 2 important points and Delhi again dis appointed with 0 points. AM Rahane declared mad of the match for his 64 runs from the from the top and anchoring Rajasthan inning.
