IPL 7 Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders Report

24th match of IPL season 7 has been played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad. Rajasthan with wonderful bowling anf batting performances lifted possible win from Kolkata and won the match by 10 runs. PV Tambe declared man of the match for his super bowling and picked hat trick wickets in one over.

Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and put Rajasthan into bat first. Rajasthan with good top order batting performances put 170 runs at the end of 20 overs. KK Nair made 44 runs for rajasthan.

Following target of 171 runs, Kolkata made superb start with RV Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir. Both played well and made good partnership as well. 121 runs partnership were builtup between two. But, in sudden interwals Kolkata lost 3 wickets in 1 over of SR Watson and in very next over PV Tambe picked up 1st hat trick of IPL 7 and totally out played Kolkata from the game. At the end Koolkata lost the game by 10 runs.
