IPL 7 Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Daredevils Report

12th match of IPL season 2014 was played between Sunriesrs Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils at Dubai. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 4 runs and open an account in IPL season 7 with 2 points. AJ Finch daclared man of the match for his 88 runs of 53 balls.

Earlier Hyderabad won the toss and chose to bat first. Sunrisers started with AJ Finch and skipper S Dhaan confidently. Both played good cricket but, Dhawan lost his wicket scoring 33 runs of 22 balls. DA Warner joined with Finch and played superb inning of 58 runs. AJ Finch also contributed 88 runs of just 53 balls. Both remained not out till end. At the end of 20 overs Sunrisers put huge score of 184 runs for Delhi Daredevils.

Following big target of 185 runs, Delhi made goos start with Q de Kock and Murali Vijay. Openers made 99 runs partnership in 11.2 overs. But, both openers departed in quick successions. Qde Kock made 48 runs and M Vijay contributed 52 runs. Oter middle order batsmen played well but could not big score. At last Delhi scored 180 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 4 runs.

Thus, Hyderabad won their 1st match in IPL 7 and open an account in Points Table Tally of IPL season 2014. Delhi got 0 points. AJ Finch declared man of the match for his superb inning of 88 runs.
