IPL 7 Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab Report

39th match of IPL season 7 has been played between Sunriesrs Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad. Punjab with good all round batting won the match by 6 wickets. WP Saha declcred man of the match for his quick 54 runs of 26 balls.

Earlier, Punjab won the toss and chose to field first. Hyderabad started with AJ Finch and skipper Dhawan slowly and steadilly. Both played well and added 65 runs for the first wicket before Finch got out scoring 20 runs. Naman Ojha promoted in order and joined with skipper and played superb inning of 79 runs of just 36 balls with 7 massive sixes and 4 faboluous fours. S Dhawan also contributed 45 runs of 37 balls. In later overs DA Warner played quick inning of 44 runs of 23 balls and put Hyderabad on huge totals of 205 runs at the end of 20 overs.

Following very huge target of 206 runs, Punjab started very aggrassively. KXIP lost Sehwag early but, Manan Vohra and W Saha gave Punjab super quick start. M Vohra made 47 runs of just 20 balls and WP saha contributed 54 runs of just 26 balls. Super runs machine GJ MAxwell came in middle and fired 43 runs of 22 balls before lost his wicket to A Mishra. In later overs skipper GJ Bailey and DA Miler took the charge and won the match by 6 wickets when 8 balls spare to bowl. GJ Bailey made quick 35 runs in 19 balls.

Thus, with 2 important points Punjab again rule the points table tally of IPL 7 and Hyderabad very disappointed with 0 points.
