Forth match of IPL season 2014 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad abd Rajasthan Royals at Abu Dhabi. Rajasthan Royals won the match by 4 wickets and earn 2 points. Ajinkya Rahane played anchore roll and contributed 59 runs so he declared man of the match.
Earlier Rajasthan won the Toss and decided to Field first. Sunrisers Hyderabad lost Finch early. But skipper Dhawan and Warner played sensible innings and kept wickets in hand till 11 overs. But middle order batsmen could not kept momentom on and at the end of 20 overs Hyderabad managed to put 133 runs on board to achieved for Rajasthan.
Following target of 134 runs Rajasthan also lost AM Nayar early. Wicketkeeper batsman S Samson and skipper Watson also departed early. But, AM Rahane played anchor roll and played superb inning of 59 runs and put Rajasthan in winning position. Rajasthan registerd win in 19.3 overs by 4 wickets.
Thus Rahasthan got 2 points and Hyderabad 0. AM Rahane declared man of the match for his impressive inning of 59 runs. |
