24th match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Playing at home Chennai chose to bat first and put huge score of 192 runs for Punjab. BB McCullum 66 and MS Dhoni contributed quick 41 runs fo Chennai. Punjab in reply collapse in batting and managed to score only 95 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 97 runs. BB McCullum declared man of the match for his brave inning of 66 runs.
Earlier Chennai won the toss and played like champions at home ground. BB McCullum and DA Smith startrd inning quick and confidently. Smith got out scoring 26 runs but McCullum played superb inning of 66 runs just in 44 runs before lost his wicket. In later overs skipper MS Dhoni also played quick inning of 41 runs of 27 balls and put Chennai on huge score of 192 runs at the ens of 20 overs.
Following huge traget of 192 runs against superb bowling attack of Chennai Super Kings, Punjab batsmen collaps badly and managed to score only 95 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 97 runs. M Vijay played good inning of 34 runs but other batsmen totally failed today. Chennai won the match comprehensively and rule points tablr tally of IPL season 8 as well.
