30th match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai super Kings at Eden Gardens Stadium, Kolkata. Putting into bat first by Kolkata, Chennai made quick start but lost wickets in regular interwals and managed to put 165 runs at the end of 20 overs. BB McCullum made quick 32 runs of just 12 runs. Kolkata in relpy bated well and registered very good win over Chennai by huge margins of 7 wkts. RV Uthappa played good inning of 80* runs but, AD Russell declared man of the match for his all round performances with 2 wickets and quick 55* runs.
Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and put Chennai into bat first. Chennai lost DR Smith on very first ball of the match. BB McCullum fired KKR strike bowers and made super fast 32 runs of just 12 balls. SK Raina also started well but fall early scoring just 8 runs. Skipper Dhoni failed today and left the field scoring just 1 run, DJ Bravo played goos cricket with RA Jadeja and made very well 32 runs. At the end of 20 overs Chennai managed to put good score of 165 runs for Kolkata to achieved.
Following target of 166 runs, Kolkata got good start with RV Uthappa and skipper G Gambhir initially. G Gambhir got out scoring 19 runs and MK Pandey and SA Yadav also departed in quick succession scoring just 3 and 2 runs respectively. AD Russell joined with RV Uhtappa and played good cricket in middle overs. RV Uthappa played good inning of 80* runs and well supported by AD Russell 55* led Kolkata to win over Chennai by huge margins of 7 wickets with 1 ball remaining.
