50th match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali. Rain interuppted match cut to 10 overs per side and putting into bat first by Bangalore Punjab made very well 106 runs with WP Saha's quick 31 runs of just 12 balls. Bangalore in reply managed to score 84 runs and lost the match by 22 runs. AR Patel declared man of the match for his all round performance with 2 important wkts and 20 runs of 15 balls.
Earlier, Bangalore won the toss and opted to field forst. Punjab made quick start with WP Saha and M Vohra initially. Both added 34 runs of 2.1 overs before WP Saha got out scoring very quick 31 runs of just 12 balls. Other middle orders got good start but could not stood in middle for long and Punjab put good totals of 106 runs in 10 overs.
Following target of 107 runs, Bangalore made calm and confident start with skipper V Kohli and GH Gayle. Kohli made quick 19 runs of 9 balls and got out in hurry. CH Gayle could not played as per his reputation and made 17 runs of 14 balls before left the field. Man in form AB de Villier also failed to play big inning and contributed 10 runs in 9 balls. Mandeep Singh promoted in batting and played good quick inning of 20 runs. KD Karthik also failed today and got out scoring just 2 runs. Bangalore managed to score 84 runs and lost the match by 22 runs.
