39th match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Opting to bat first, Delhi with middle orders good batting performances managed to out 152 runs for Mumbai to achieved. Mumbai in reply chased successfully the given target having lost 5 wickets with 3 balls remaining. AT Rayudu made 49 runs and RG Sharma 46 runs for Mumbai but, Harbhajan Singh declared man of the match for his tight bowling with 2 wickets in his 4 overs spending just 11 runs.
Earlier, Delhi won the toss and elected to bat first. Delhi could not made good start and lost MA Agrawal on very first of inning. JP Duminy joined with SS Iyer and play some good cricket initially. Both started well but lost wickets in quick successoins scoring 28 and 19 runs respectively and Delhi were in trouble. In later overs Yuvraj Singh played good inning of 57 runs and put Delhi on 152 runs in 20 overs.
Following target of 153 runs, Mumbai also could not batter start and lost LMP Simmons on very first ball of the inning. At one stage Mumbai were 40/4 in 5.2 over and they were in big trouble. Skipper RG sharma and AT Rayudu took the charge in hand and played slow but sensible cricket in middle overs. RG Sharma made good 46 runs and AT Rayudu contributed well 49* runs and remained not out till end. Mumbai registered comrehensive win over Delhi by 5 wicket with 3 balls remaining.
