51st match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Putting into bat first by Kolkata Mumbai put good totals of 171 runs with splendid batting by HH Pandya with 61 of 31 balls. Match turns into interesting situation when KKR needed 12 runs in last over. KA Pollard bowled last over and gave only 6 runs and Mumbai won by 5 runs. HH Pandya got man of the match award for his splendid inning of 61* runs of 31 balls.
Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and put Mumbai into bat first. Mumbai got good start with PA Patel and LMP Simmons initially. Both played well but falls in quick succession scoring 14 and 21 runs respectively. RG Sharma came in middle and played small but good inning of 30 runs before lost his wicket. Middle order batsmen KA Pollard 33* and HH Pandya's quick 61 runs innuing of just 311 balls put Mumbai in good totals of 171 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Following target of 172 runs, Kolkata made confident start with RV Uthappa and skipper G Gambhir. Both made 25 and 38 runs for Kolkata. Shakib Al Hasan played good quick inning of 23 runs of 15 balls in the middle overs. YK Pathan also played good inning of 52 runs but in the end Kolkata lost the match by just 5 runs.
