7th match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Putting into bat first by Mumbai, Punjab managed to put decent totals of 177 runs with skipper GJ Bailey's quick 61* runs. Mumbai top orders totally failed today and lost the match by 18 runs. Harbhajan Singh played super quick inning of 64 runs just in 24 balls but he could not saved the match. GJ Bailey declared man of the match for his good inning of 61 runs.
Earlier, Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to field first and let Punjab to set target. Punjab started quick inning with M Vijay and V Sehwag. Both went after KXIP's strike bowlers and made 60 runs in 6.4 pvers before Sehwag out scoring 36 of 19 balls. M Vijay also contributed 35 runs before lost his wicket. Skipper GJ Bailey took charge in hand and played superb inning of 61* runs just in 32 balls and put Punjab on 177 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Following target of 178 runs, Mumbai top orders faild to gave Mumbai good start and MI lost top 3 wickets just on 17 runs. Middle orders also follow the top orders and at one stage Mumbai were 59/6 in 13.4 overs. Lower Batsman Harbhajan Singh came in middle and played stromming inning of 64 runs of just 24 balls and pur match in interesting position. Mumbai needed 29 runs to win in last over. Harbhajan started well but fall scoring 64 runs and Mumbai ost the match by 18 runs. Harbhajan smashed fastest 50 of the season of just 19 balls.
