16th match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Royal Challengers Bangalore having the toss put Mumbai into bat first. Mumbai with good batting by top orders managed to put huge score of 209 runs at the end of 20 overs. Bangalore in reply tried dedly but lost the match by 18 runs. Harbhajan Singh declared man of the match for his tight bowling with 3 wickets spending 27 runs in his 4 overs.
Earlier, Bangalore won the toss and put Mumbai into bat first. Mumbai with LMP Simmons 59 runs, UBT Chand 58 runs and skipper Rohit Sharma's firing inning of 42 runs just in 15 balls managed to put huge score of 209 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Following huge target of 210 runs, Bangalore started inning very slowly and steadely. CH Gayle and MS Bisla played very slow cricket initially. MS Bisla made 20 runs and CH Gayle made 10 runs of 24 balls. V Kohli 18 and KD Karthik 18 also departer early and could not stood in middle for long. AB de Villiers came in middle and played super quick inning of 41 runs in just 11 balls and gave Bangalore some hope ti win the game. D Wiese also played good inning of 47 runs of 25 balls. Other middle and lower batsmen could not bated well and Bangalore lost the match by 18 runs.
