9th match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad. Good combination of Foreign and Indian capped and uncapped players proved today that Rajasthan Royals is very strong team as crushed Mumbai Indians by huge margins of 7 wickets at Ahmedabad. Skipper SPD Smith led Rajasthan with 79* runs to steer easy win over Mumbai today. He daclared man of the match for his brave inning.
Earlier, Mumbai won the toss and opted to bat first. The decision not seemd right for Mumbai as top orders continued to failed as previous matches. Middle order batsmen KA Pollard 70 runs of 34 balls and CJ anderson's 50 of 38 balls gave Mumbai some respectable totals of 164 run at the end of 20 overs.
Following target of 165 runs, Rajasthan made slow and confident start as usual. SV Samson lost his wicket scoring 17 runs. SPD Smith joined with AM Rahane and took the charge in hand. Both played sensible cricket initially. AM Rahane made very well 46 runs gefore left the field. Skipper SPD Smith remained not out till end and gave Rajasthan comprehensive win by 7 wickets in 19.1 overs.
