22nd match of 2015 IPL season 8 will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad. Royal challengers won the toss and put Rajasthan into bat first. Rajasthan did not played as their reputaion and put very low score of 130 runs in 20 overs. Bangalore with splendid batting displaye of V Kohli and AB de Villiers won the match by huge margins of 9 wickets. MA Starc declared man of the match for his superb bowling with 3 wickets spending 22 runs in 4 overs.
Earlier, Bangalore won the toss and opted to field first. Rajasthan putting into bat first made good start with AM Rahane and skipper SR Watson initially. Both played sensible cricket but, lost wickets in quick interwals scoring 18 and 26 runs respectively. SPD Smith and Karun Nair came in middle and took the charge in hand for Rajasthan. Smith made 31 runs but other middle and lower orders failed to bated well and Rajasthan managed to put low score of 130 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Following small totals of 130 runs, Royal Challengers top orders played superb cricket and won the match by huge margins of 9 wickets with 23 balls remaining. Virat Kohli played good inning of 62 runs and AB de Villiers contributed well 47 runs and both remained not out till end.
