IPL 7 Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians Report

13th match of IPL season 2014 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at Dubai. Chennai with all round performances won the match by 7 wickets. BB McCullum made unbeatn 71 runs but, Mohit Sharma declared man of the match for his tight bowling spell and picked up 4 wickets in his 4 overs spending just 14 runs.

Earlier Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first. Mike Hyssey and AP Tare started Mumbai Inning. Hussy gone early scoring just 1 run. CJ Anderson joined with Tare and kept wickets in hand. Tare made 23 runs before he lost wicket. Skipper RG Sharma joined with Anderson and played useful inning of 50 runs in 41 balls. Other lower order batsmen could not contributed well and Mumbai put 141 on board to achieved for Chennai in 20 overs.

Following target of 142 runs, Chennai made firing start with DR smith and BB McCullum. Both go after Mumbai bowlers and made 50 runs partnership of just 35 balls. DR Smith got out in hurry scoring 29 runs of 22 balls. Next coming SK Raina also departed early scorin just 1 run. BB McCullum stod in middle and played sensible inning for Chennai. He made unbeaten 71 runs and Chennai won the match by 7 wickets.

Thus Chennai 2 points and Mumbai yet to win match in IPL season 7. MM Sharma declared man of the match for his 4 wickets spending 14 runs in 4 overs.
