IPL 7 Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings Report

10th match of IPL season 2014 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai super Kings at Dubai. Chennai in a low score match snetch superb win against Rauasthan by 7 runs. Ravindra Jadeja of Chennai declared man of the match for his all rounder performance. He made 36 runs and picked up 4 wickets for Chennai.

Earlier Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to field first. Chennai puting into bat first, started inning with DR Smith and BB McCullum. McCullum departed early but, DR Smith played quick inning of 50 runs of just 28 balls. Other top oeder batsmen including skipper MS Dhoni could not stood in middle for long and lost wickets early. But, RV Jadeja in later overs played important inning of 36 runs and put Chennai on respectable score of 140 runs at the end of 20 overs.

Following small target of 141 runs, Rajasthan could not made batter start and lost AM Nayar early. AM Rahane and SV Samson got good start but could not conrert their inning in long innings. Other middle order and lower batsmen faild to understand Ravindra Jadaja well and went back to pavillion in regular interwals. Rajasthan all out in 19.5 overs scoring 133 runs and lost the match by 7 runs margins.

Thus, Chennai promoted to 2nd position in Points table and Rajasthan moves down to no. 5. Ravindra Jadeja (Chennai) declared man of the match for his all-round performances.
